Why to be Alkaline Not Acid?

The only part of our body that should be acidic is the stomach. We should have acidic stomach, because only in acidic environment the gastric enzymes can work. Protein is the only food that is digested in the stomach, no other type of food is digested in the stomach. Pepsin is the enzyme that breaks down proteins into smaller peptides. Pepsin works only in highly acidic conditions.

In 1931 the German scientist Otto Heinrich Warburg has been awarded with Nobel Prize because of his discovery of the nature and mode of action of the respiratory enzyme.This discovery has opened up new ways in the fields of cellular metabolism and cellular respiration. He has shown, among other things, that cancerous cells can live and develop, even in the absence of oxygen. He has proved that according to our way of eating and activity mode we change our organism from alkaline to acidic. The lack of oxygen in the cells leads to acidity. This means that the acid environment is an environment without oxygen. Healthy cells left without 35% oxygen can be transformed into cancerous cells in just two days.

All cells need oxygen to live. Only the cancerous cells can live without oxygen. What does it happen? We deprive the organism from oxygen by shallow breathing and bad posture. Moreover we consume too much food (white flour, sugar, white salt, dairy products, juices, snacks and others) that help to transform the organism into acid environment. The human body has the ability to adapt, so it adapts to this conditions and what happened? The body mutates. The cancer appears. Cancer is the result of body’s adaptation to our way of living.

Acidic environment in our body is a precondition for the development of cancer!

Depending on proteins, carbohydrates, fats, vitamins and minerals, are created conditions of acidity or alkalinity. So, the food that we consume has a huge role in our acid-base balance. The pH value measures a substance’s acidity or alkalinity. A pH of 0 is totally acidic, while a pH of 14 is completely alkaline. A pH of 7 is neutral. Those levels vary throughout your body. Your blood is slightly alkaline, with a pH between 7.35 and 7.45.

It’s interesting that lemon juice in its natural state is acidic with a pH of about 2, but once metabolized it actually becomes alkaline with a pH well above 7. So, outside the body, anyone can see that lemon juice is very acidic. However, once fully digested, its effect is proven to be alkalizing with many health benefits.

To be healthy you should eat more alkaline food. Or we should compensate with proper breathing.

How acidic or alkaline foods affect our health? Cells to function properly have to be in a zone with ph a little over 7. Healthy person has a ph in the blood between 7,4 and 7,45. If the ph is under 7 this means that person should be in an unconsciousness. Cancer cells begin to develop when the ph fall under 6,2.

The important thing here is which food helps you to alkalize? It is also important what is the alkalinity of the drinking water. It should be with neutral 7 ph. We spend the most energy in our life to process food and water. Because every foods and drinks that are with different ph than ours trouble the organism, trying to level them to the normal body ph.

Eat more live food. Live food means everything that is not cooked. When we are alkaline the charge of the body is negative. When we are acidic the charge of the body is positive. Plants have -450 charge. People have -70 charge. We have to be with negative charge (anions) to neutralize the free radicals (cations). Every plant that is teared off begin to lose its negative particles and acquires positive (from alive it becomes dead). When we eat fruits and vegetables that are just teared off we charge ourself with the living energy.

Which food is acidic?

– refined sugar

– all dairy

– refined salt

– refined flour (pastry, cake, biscuits)

– roasted nuts

– margarine

– caffeine

– alcohol and cigarettes

– heat-treated food

– food with preservatives, artificial colors, stabilizers and many others

How to alkalize?

– eat raw fruits and vegetables

– drink alkaline water

– stand up straight. When you slouch, you have limited lung capacity, along with restricted movement of your diaphragm.

– move and train your body

– breath well. From a yoga perspective, when you aren’t breathing well, your prana or vital energy, is not flowing properly. From a physiological perspective, when your respiratory system is not efficient, neither are your cardiovascular, digestive, endocrine, or nervous systems.

So, stand up tall and let your body function optimally.
